WANT TO KNOW MORE?

This isn’t lotion in a bottle. Heel Polish comes in a luxe tin and delivers big results—melting into dry, overworked feet with a rich blend of organic botanicals that restore, hydrate, and protect.

It’s designed to absorb deeply, not just sit on the surface—so you get lasting softness, not short-term shine. The included silicone massager applicator glides effortlessly around every curve of your foot, pressing the formula deep without messy hands.

For best results, pair it with the SandBar Foot File. Filing first clears away dead buildup, making room for the polish to do its thing—faster, deeper, and better. Together, they don’t just soften your skin. They transform it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? We have you covered
What makes SandBar Heel Polish different from regular foot cream or lotion?

For starters, it’s not watered-down lotion in a fancy jar.

Heel Polish is a concentrated, water-free organic cocktail made specifically for the thick, hardworking skin on your feet. A little goes a very long way, and instead of just smearing something across the surface, Heel Polish is meant to be worked into your heels.

That’s why every tin comes with its own silicone massage applicator, stored right inside the lid. Rub it into the Heel Polish, then massage that goodness into your heels. The applicator helps distribute the product evenly and work it into all those little cracks, crevices, and rough areas without leaving half the product underneath your fingernails or all over your hands.

Your heels carry your entire body around all day. They deserve something better than whatever lotion happens to be sitting next to the sink.

Why is it called Heel Polish?

Because you’re not just putting lotion on your heels. You’re polishing them.

The skin on your heels is thick for a reason—it has a hell of a job to do. Heel Polish is designed to be massaged into that hardworking skin with the silicone applicator, helping you thoroughly moisturize and protect your heels instead of just swiping product across the surface.

Work it in. Massage it around the heel. Get into all the little areas that tend to get dry and rough. You’re giving that skin some attention before asking it to carry you through another day.

That’s Heel Polish.

How much Heel Polish should I use?

Not much. This stuff is concentrated.

Rub the silicone applicator over the Heel Polish in a few small circular motions, then start massaging it into one heel. Repeat for the other foot. You can always pick up a little more if you need it, but you’ll be surprised by how far a small amount spreads.

And don’t stop at your heels if the rest of your feet could use some love. Work it around your Achilles area, across the bottoms and sides of your feet, and give those poor toes some moisture too.

A little goes a long way—but that doesn’t mean you have to be stingy with the love.

How often should I use Heel Polish?

At least once a day, but your feet get the final say.

The most important time to use Heel Polish is every single time you file your heels. You’ve just removed the excess dry buildup and exposed the healthy callused skin underneath. That’s exactly when you want to moisturize and protect it.

If your heels tend to be especially dry or prone to cracking, we recommend Heel Polish morning and night. Massage some in before you start your day to help keep your heels moisturized and protected, then apply it again before bed and let it work its magic all night long.

Some feet need more attention than others. Start with daily use, bump it up to morning and night when your heels need extra love, and figure out what keeps yours happiest.

Why does Heel Polish come with a silicone massage applicator?

Because I got tired of putting more product underneath my fingernails and all over my hands than I actually got onto my feet.

But it turned out the applicator does something even better.

Heel skin is thick. You don’t want to just swipe Heel Polish across the surface—you want to actually work it in. The soft silicone bristles massage the product across your heel and into all the little nooks and crannies that are easy to miss with your fingers.

It spreads the Heel Polish more effectively, keeps your hands clean, and gives your hardworking feet a little massage in the process.

And yes, it feels absolutely glorious.

Can I use Heel Polish on severely dry, cracked heels? Will it sting?

Absolutely. Severely cracked heels are why I created it in the first place.

Heel Polish is made with a concentrated cocktail of ingredients chosen to moisturize, soothe, and protect dry, hardworking skin. And unlike products that can burn or sting when they hit those painful cracks, Heel Polish is gentle enough to apply directly to cracked heels.

In fact, that soothing moisture can feel pretty damn amazing the second it goes on.

Massage it in gently with the silicone applicator and give those heels the moisture and protection they’ve been begging for.

Should I apply Heel Polish before or after filing my heels?

After. Always after.

Putting Heel Polish on before you file just gums up your Foot File and wastes perfectly good Heel Polish.

More importantly, you want to remove that thick, dry, dead buildup first. Trying to moisturize through layers of it is like trying to moisturize concrete. File away the excess buildup, then apply Heel Polish to the freshly filed callused skin underneath, where it can actually do some good.

File first. Polish second.

Is Heel Polish greasy?

No. Heel Polish is rich and concentrated, but it shouldn’t leave your feet feeling like you’ve dipped them in cooking oil.

A little goes a long way, and the silicone applicator helps you thoroughly work the product into your skin instead of leaving a thick layer sitting on top.

Use a small amount, massage it in well, and let your heels soak up the love.

How long does one tin of Heel Polish last?

About six months or longer—even with daily use on both feet.

Heel Polish is extremely concentrated and contains no water, so you only need a small amount for each application. A few circular swipes of the applicator is usually enough to get started on each heel.

That little 2 oz tin may not look enormous, but don’t underestimate it. There’s a hell of a lot of foot love packed in there.

What ingredients are in SandBar Heel Polish?

It starts with shea butter for rich moisture, moringa and sunflower seed oils to moisturize and nourish dry skin, and beeswax to help seal that moisture in and protect the skin barrier. Vitamin E and calendula help support and soothe stressed skin, while arrowroot helps give the formula that smooth, non-greasy feel.

We round it out with lavender and tea tree essential oils, along with caprylic/capric triglycerides to help create a concentrated formula that spreads beautifully and works into thick heel skin.

And here’s what’s not in that cocktail: water. Heel Polish isn’t a watered-down body lotion. It’s concentrated, which is why such a small amount can cover both feet and one little 2 oz tin can last six months or longer.

Your heels work too damn hard for cheap filler. Give them the good stuff.

Love love love! I have rough heels year round, especially with the dry air in Utah. The heel polish slightly exfoliates while providing immense hydration! My heels are so soft and smooth after I use it! Can’t wait to keep using throughout summer as I spend more time barefoot outside!
